AURORA, CEARA

Aurora is a small rural municipality in the sertão of Ceará, located about two hours from Juazeiro do Norte in the north of the valley of Carirí. Though small, it has a tradition of talented woodcarvers who celebrate the region’s history and culture with their imaginative sculptures.
