EXUS AND ORIXAS - OPENING DOORS TO BRAZIL

Exus and Orixas - Opening Doors to Brazil is a small exhibition of ferramentas (devotional symbols handmade in iron), woodblock prints, photographs and an unusual collection of handmade dolls which give access to the African Brazilian religion of Candomblé. This exhibition is adjustable in size and designed for small venues. For examples of work, see Detinha de Xango, Nilo dos Santos, and Jose Adário, all artists from Salvador. An interpretive brochure accompanies this exhibition.
