THE ARTISTS OF ADAPS –
ASOCIACIÓN DE ARTISTAS POPULARES DE SARHUA
ADAPS, the Association of Folk Artists of Sarhua, was founded in Lima in the 1970s. Its principal objectives are the preservation and sharing of the art and culture of the Andean community of Sarhua. The group works together to plan, design, write and paint panels on Andean culture. Members are Primitivo Evanan Poma and his wife Valeriana Vivanco, Juan Quispe, Julian Ramos and their families.
