HUGO, EDGAR AND NINO BLANCO BAUTISTA
Some of the finest and most detailed retablos in Ayacucho are made by the brothers Blanco Bautista. From their modest workshop high above the city of Ayacucho they create unique and detailed retablos containing highly charged themes: the war with Sendero Luminioso and violent encounters between terrorists and the military.
