CELESTINO (LOUCO FILHO)
Eldest son of Louco, Celestino began as a young boy to help his father in his woodcarving shop. As a youngster, he traveled with his father to Salvador to sell sculptures at the Mercado Modelo and began to make and sell his own sculpture too. Celestino withdrew from high school to devote his time to sculpture and today runs an atelier/gallery near the center of Cachoeira. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions in Cachoeira, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo as well as international exhibitions in England, North America and Canada.
