Cícero Ferreira Cardoso, the son of the famous wood sculptor, Mestre Manoel Graciano, was inspired by the woodcarving of his father and his step-brother, Francisco. Cícero began carving when he was 16. He is known for his carvings of country musicians and imaginative figures playing electronic keyboards, electric guitars and other modern instruments.
