ELONI
Eloni grew up in the interior of Ceará where his family struggled for survival by working in the fields. When he was 21, he and his mother moved to Juazeiro do Norte into a small house down the street from the famous wood sculptor, José Cosmo Félix, known as Nino. Eloni began to help Nino and learned to carve figures from him, and now repeats the forms and themes that he learned from this great master in his own artwork.
