INDIO
Throughout his life, Indio has been involved in the production of artesanato. He is self-taught and developed his own personal process for making mats, baskets, and other objects using cord. Now 45, Indio is an active artist at Center Mestre Noza, and works exclusively in wood – making imaginative spotted figures which he feels express the spirituality of the common people.
