LENA DA BAHIA
Lena da Bahia is respected both as an artist and as a gallery director. Since 1994, with the help of her son Cal, she has presented her own art and the art of dozens of self-taught artists at her gallery, Atelier Afrikan Art, located at Ladeira do Carmo, no. 10. For many Pelourinho artists, Lena has been an important source of encouragement and support.
