MAURO DI VERDE
Mauro draws artistic inspiration from Candomblé as well as from Bahian folklore and from the beauty of the cobbled streets, the churches, and little houses of the Pelourinho. Today, Mauro’s distinctive paintings crowded with small buildings — the colonial houses and churches of the Pelourinho — are displayed and sold in many galleries in the Centro Histórico area.
