Themes of the countryside and rural life have been a continuing interest of Raimundo’s since he started painting as a young man. Through the years, he has developed his own distinctive painting style with large-scale figures and a distinctive color palette. Today, he maintains an attractive personal atelier/gallery in the Centro Histôrico area of Salvador, and his paintings have been widely exhibited in Brazil and in Europe.
